Senior Executive Customer Service (Sea / Ocean – Exports)

Primary Role Responsibilities & Deliverables

  1. Will work as an account lead for the customer’s operations from ex-India all locations.
  2. Maintain relationships with carriers and customers
  3. Be the primary contact for all Operations & related KPI deliveries to Customers.
  4. Coordination for BL instruction, draft approval, and pre-alerts, payments, VGM, SI submission.
  5. Primary contact for all shippers supplying to the customer
  6. Lead, implement, and constantly review SOP processes for the Customer
  7. Manage and deliver daily operations plans for past, ongoing, and future shipments
  8. Coordinate with nominated carriers, share information with Control Tower/Network, and ensure customer objectives are achieved
  9. Work with back-end teams to ensure all SOP compliances in regard to Ops, documentation, and visibility systems are managed.
  10. Update DSR and files.
  11. Follow up with back end team for BL print, BL release, and courier dispatch coordination.
  12. Work with the finance team to ensure timely billing and collection of outstanding from vendors/shippers
  13. Report design, generate, and implement timely reports to give visibility to management team members
  14. At least 4-5 years managing export ocean freight shipments from India with exposure to documentation and operational process
