Primary Role Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Will work as an account lead for the customer’s operations from ex-India all locations.
- Maintain relationships with carriers and customers
- Be the primary contact for all Operations & related KPI deliveries to Customers.
- Coordination for BL instruction, draft approval, and pre-alerts, payments, VGM, SI submission.
- Primary contact for all shippers supplying to the customer
- Lead, implement, and constantly review SOP processes for the Customer
- Manage and deliver daily operations plans for past, ongoing, and future shipments
- Coordinate with nominated carriers, share information with Control Tower/Network, and ensure customer objectives are achieved
- Work with back-end teams to ensure all SOP compliances in regard to Ops, documentation, and visibility systems are managed.
- Update DSR and files.
- Follow up with back end team for BL print, BL release, and courier dispatch coordination.
- Work with the finance team to ensure timely billing and collection of outstanding from vendors/shippers
- Report design, generate, and implement timely reports to give visibility to management team members
- At least 4-5 years managing export ocean freight shipments from India with exposure to documentation and operational process
